2011 Ford F-Series

The 2011 Ford F-150 gives you best-in-class trailer-towing capability - 11,300 lbs. - across all cabs (regular, SuperCab, and SuperCrew)  with the added confidence and stability of standard Trailer Sway Control (TSC)** and an available factory-integrated Trailer Brake Controller. Furthermore, the selectable Tow/Haul Mode on the six-speed automatic transmission compensates for altitude, grade and load to aid performance, especially when driving up steep grades or down extreme slopes. You can choose the Trailer Towing Package or the new optional Max Trailer Tow Package - a special group of heavy-duty towing upgrades.
A 6-speed automatic transmission comes standard with one of 3 engine offerings: the standard 3.7L V6 with 302horsepower, 360 horsepower 5L V8 or the 411 horsepower 6.2L V8. This electronically controlled close-ratio transmission helps optimize power delivery for improved fuel economy. A selectable Tow/Haul Mode improves performance when towing or hauling heavy loads by compensating for altitude, grade and load, and reducing gear hunting, improving power delivery, and using engine braking to help slow the truck when descending hills. 4x4 is available on all trims for the 2011 F-150.

The 2011 F-250 is Ford's Super Duty full-sized single rear-wheel (SRW) truck. The F-250 manages to mix innovation, comfort, and style into a competitive vehicle that has impressive torque ratings, towing capacities, and payloads.  The 2011 F-250 is available as a 4x2 or a 4x4, has three different cab configurations, and has four trims available: the XL, XLT, Lariat and King Ranch. The F-250 comes with one of two engines: the standard 6.2-liter 385-hp V8 with 405 lb.-ft. of torque or the optional and innovative 6.7-liter turbo 400-hp V8 Powerstroke diesel with 800 lb.-ft. of torque. Both engines are mated to a TorqShift six-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift and a Tow/Haul mode.  The 2011 Ford F-350 is the full-ton variant of the F-Series. It offeres the option of either single rear-wheel (SRW) or dual rear-wheel (DRW).
